RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

on site and in the surrounding area

  • Fishing
The Fuscher Ache fishing water has its source in the Hohe Tauern National Park at the foot of the Großglockner massif, and after more than 50 years in private ownership, the water has now been made accessible to the public and therefore also to our guests for fishing.
  • Climbing
The mountains of the Hohe Tauern not only look good, they are also ideal for climbing. Already at the foot of the rocky massif you can fully indulge in the ‘climbing pleasure’.
  • Golf
Immaculate greens, perfectly prepared fairways and a unique lakeside ambience: The two 18-hole championship courses at the Zell am See-Kaprun golf club boast a uniquely picturesque backdrop.
  • Minigolf
Even away from our unique golf courses, you can work hard on your handicap in Zell am See-Kaprun. Mini golf means fun for the whole family. Armed with a putter and a golf ball, it’s all up for grabs on 18 holes – just like on the big greens.
  • Mountain biking
There are 1,200 km of approved and signposted cycle paths in Pinzgau, 720 km of which are mountain bike trails! An outstanding quality and density, also seen throughout Europe – and Bruck-Fusch is right in the middle of it!
  • Paragliding
If you like to look at things from a new angle, you can’t miss the alpine flights over Zell am See and Kaprun. Experience the Schmittenhöhe, the Kitzsteinhorn, the Kaprun reservoirs and the Großglockner with eagle eyes.
  • Swimming
Summer bathing paradise: When the temperatures rise in Bruck, the desire for water and relaxation grows at the same time.
  • Sailing, surfing & windsurfing
“Learn to sail & surf where the world is at its most beautiful”: this is the motto of the Harry Vettermann sailing and surfing school (ÖSV recognized). Sailing is a sport for all ages.
  • Skiing & snowboarding
Bruck and Fusch are in close proximity to the ski areas in Zell am See and Kaprun. Our free ski buses take you comfortably directly to the mountain railroads. The ski resorts are characterized by their extremely high snow reliability.
  • Tennis
String up your racket, pick up your balls and head out onto the court: Zell am See and Kaprun offer fans of the white sport numerous opportunities for a sporting exchange of blows.
  • Nightlife
When the mountain idyll of the region fades into darkness, the vacation continues in more than 30 bars, pubs and clubs. With cocktails and live music you dance exuberantly until the early morning hours. Hot rhythms provide the right party mood, cool drinks offer the necessary cooling. Motto parties and many other specials bring variety to the evening.
  • Hiking
Trails as far as your feet can carry you: a mountain tour on the Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe or Maiskogel is a very special experience for hikers. In the fantastic natural scenery of Zell am See-Kaprun, you can either take a leisurely or fast-paced hike on a total of 83 well-developed routes.
  • Wellness & Beauty
Relaxation and enjoyment have always been very popular in Zell am See-Kaprun. And that’s exactly why the region is expanding its wellness offerings even further: Already in December you can enjoy all the benefits of the new Tauern Spa in Kaprun! The resort offers everything you need for a relaxing wellness day.
  • Rafting
With a boat and paddle, you can either take a leisurely trip on Lake Zell and the surrounding rivers, or you can go for a harder ride! Enjoy the splashing pleasure of a rafting tour of several hours on the Salzach or Saalach.
  • Canyoning
Canyons and waterfalls become slides, rock pools become whirlpools and ledges become diving boards: canyoning is a sport that is as strenuous as it is fascinating. Go all out! The tour through wild water gets everything out of the body.
